A personal journey…

Salomé talks about her personal journey and emotions during her involvement with the musical project "NADA" …

Salomé:

“I am thrilled to take you on a heartfelt journey through my experience with the captivating musical project, "NADA".

When Christian invited me to be part of his album "NADA" , I was overjoyed but also kind of afraid by the challenge. His belief in my voice and artistry filled me nevertheless with confidence.

Recording for "NADA" was almost like an emotional rollercoaster, in the best possible way. Performing the lead vocal on “ Choose The Light ”, "Jumpin' Black Cat", “Waiting for Jackson” (…) allowed me to connect with original music songs on a level I haven't explored up to now, trying to infuse my own spirit into each track as far as I could, always in total respect of the original lyrics, their feeling and sometimes their emotion.

Being part of "NADA" gave me a chance to explore and perhaps unveil my true musical identity. While I adore the pop, rock and soul classics, being the voice of Christian Clua's and A. Peter’s songs offered me a great deal of freedom and responsibility at the same time. These creations became a canvas for me to express my vulnerability as well as my strength and it was liberating to express these two sides of myself.

Taking part in such a project and trying to find the right balance in each track wasn't an easy task. But the difficult steps on the way rather helped us going ahead.

What an experience, once again, to record a song that no one has ever heard before and to see it coming to life in front of your own eyes.

"NADA" isn't just an album for me. It is a particular chapter in my life,  transforming my musical journey. The experience of being part in such a project, exploring different genres, in connection with all the members of the project, reminded me how important music is for me.”
